Holy Fools entertain in Rochester Cathedral

A Christian entertainers group will be taking over Rochester Cathedral for a weekend in September.

The Holy Fools, formed in the 1980s will be running workshops in drama, story telling, puppets, juggling and more on September 21 and 22.

The two day event is open to all and admission is free.




0900              Gather in the cathedral  to set up and morning prayer

1030 - 1130  Puppetry with Hazel

1000 -  1115   Juggling with Neil

1130 - 1200   Story telling led by Neil and others

1200 -  1300   Lunch and set up for the show at 1pm in the cathedral

1300               Clown performance in the cathedral

1415 - 1545    AGM in the council room

1545 - 1645     Run through for the Sunday morning service in the cathedral.

1730 or after    Dinner. (arrangements to be finalised nearer the time)




1000                Gather in the cathedral those on welcoming duty.

1030                Cathedral service which includes communion and two baptisms

1300                 Lunch at Dartford URC if you are performing in the show at 2pm

1400                40 minute show

1500                The weekend finishes but some people will need dropping of at the train station.



Overnight Accommodation Booking



Neil is arranging overnights at the Gordon House Hotel - 3 to a room. although you could share a twin bedded room at a very reasonable rate.  Early booking is essential in order that we can all be booked into the same place at this special rate.  Cost £30 a night
