The sun shone down on readers and pastoral assistants

Ladies in the SunOn the hottest weekend of the year so far, when summer finally arrived, a group of Readers and Pastoral Assistants spent the weekend together at The Oasts in Northiam (July 5 -7)
The weekend was planned to be a mixture of retreat, teaching input, and opportunity to network - and all of those aspects were a great blessing to the group. Andrew and Elizabeth Procter joined us for the Saturday to talk about the church's healing ministry - and looking after ourselves as busy lay ministers.

"Changed, encouraged and energised" was how one of the group reported going home - and that summed up the weekend for us all, after time with one another in the presence of God, in stunningly beautiful surroundings.
