A Warm Welcome at St Paul with All Saints

Heating Replacement Works Completed
St Paul with All Saints Church on Magpie Hall Road in Chatham has recently been awarded a grant for new Church heaters by “Awards for All” from the Big Lottery Fund.
The amount of £10,000 was a welcome boost to the Church where the current heating system, being more than 40 years old, was beginning to fail under the demands of use as the building held community activities almost every day.
The new system, which was installed over a one week period will be of benefit to everyone who uses the building including after schools clubs, resident’s associations, training organisations and youth clubs and the Church congregation themselves.
“All Saints Church and Community Project are so grateful to Awards for All for their generous grant, which has meant that we have a warm church this winter! Thank you so much. – Rev Keith Johnson, Vicar, November 2013
The Church, which will celebrate its centenary in April 2014, and the All Saints Community Project Trust, a registered charity who are housed in the building, will benefit greatly from the improvements as they continue the work of reaching out to the local community and working with them to make a real difference to the area.
