Communications

We are responsible for crisis media response 24 hours a day and more routine issues like the production of Link and our new magazine Reflections.. We are also responsible for the diocesan website, the production of audio and video podcasts and any films required by the Diocese.

In addition, Lindy liaises closely with Bishop James to design and implement the diocesan communications strategy and to manage the Bishop’s personal media interests.

Katerina is the Communications Assistant and currently works three days a week.

Lindy Mackenzie has a Bachelor of Arts degree, an MBE for her work in communications and is a fully Accredited and Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. Lindy also has a number of post graduate masters level communications diplomas and has a marketing qualification with the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Katerina Gerhardt has a Bachelor of Arts Business Administration degree from the Tallinn University of Technology and has a particular expertise in digital communications. She is a photographer and specialises in still life photography.
