For children and young people

Children and young people across the area of the Diocese are a vital part of the Church family. That's why we want to hear your views to help us find the next Bishop of Rochester.

It's simple to get involved. All you have to do is download one of the following activities.

These can be done in school, in your church Sunday school, children and youth groups, and even around the kitchen table with your family.

If you want, ask your local vicar, school chaplain, youth leader or parent for help.

But what does a bishop do?

Before you start, Jack, Joshua and Elizabeth from the Diocesan Youth Council explain a bit more about what a bishop does and why your help in helping us find a new bishop is so important.

I've completed my activity. What do I do now?

When you've filled in your thoughts, you (or a grown-up helper), need to email them to us at:

You need to do this by Sunday 13 June, 2021

Once we've gathered in all your ideas, they'll be put together into a guide to help make sure we get the right person for this important job.

THANK YOU -  and don't forget to pray!

The role of Bishop of Rochester is a really important one, so please do pray that this process will go well. You can use the prayer below:
