The Bishop of Rochester, in consultation with the Archdeacon of Bromley and Bexley, is pleased to announce that The Revd Canon Victoria Pask is to be appointed to the newly created role of Associate Archdeacon for Bromley and Bexley Archdeaconry, with effect from 1 October 2024.
Victoria is currently the Area Dean for Bromley and Vicar of St Mark's. She will resign both of these roles in order to take up this part-time post, which will be for an initial fixed period of two years.
Her new role, which is being funded by a grant from the national church, will be to support Archdeacon Allie Kerr and work as her representative in various matters including pastoral issues, complaints, recruitment and some Project Boards.
Allie is delighted that Victoria has agreed to take on this appointment, and is looking forward to building on the excellent working relationship they have already, as Victoria takes up her new responsibilities in the autumn.
Please pray for Victoria and Conrad as they prepare for her farewell service at St Mark's and for her new work and ministry within the Archdeaconry.
The role is one of three new Associate Archdeacon roles that have been appointed. Read more
