The Diocese of Rochester is thrilled to launch an exciting new initiative: Growing the Kingdom - a film series sharing stories of transformation, faith, and community impact by churches and people of faith across the Diocese.
These films will showcase the incredible work happening in churches and other settings within the Diocese, to nurture, encourage, and unite individuals in our shared mission to serve God and communities.
From Medway to the London Boroughs of Bromley and Bexley, and throughout north and west Kent, these stories reflect the heart of the Diocese's vision to “change, serve, and grow.”

A new story each month
Each month, a new story will bring to life the shared mission to seek first the Kingdom of God - look out for them on diocesan social media channels and on YouTube from Monday 13 January, 2025.
Through personal testimonies, community initiatives, and inspiring acts of faith and kindness, these films will highlight how the people, parishes, and places of the Diocese are making a tangible difference - spiritually and socially - within their communities.
Stories that inspire
The Growing the Kingdom stories of growth and impact will highlight the ongoing relevance of the church in modern society and its ability to meet the needs of today’s world.
Whether it’s a church rallying to support families, individuals in need or creating innovative ways to connect with younger generations, Growing the Kingdom will showcase all of what the Diocese has to offer.
Each film is a testament to how God is at work, transforming lives and empowering churches to be inspirations of hope and love in their communities.
