NEW Prayer Pack Book launched

An open oage of the Prayer Pack Book

We're delighted to introduce the NEW Diocesan Prayer Pack Book -  designed to nurture your personal prayer journey wherever you are.

Developed over eight years, this resource, now available in accessible book form, offers 12 unique ways to pray, from the comfort of your home to your church community.

Each chapter outlines a method of prayer in simple steps, with space for your reflections and notes. Plus, a 'Review of Prayer' section encourages growth and reflection.

Endorsing the book, Bishop Jonathan Gibbs, Bishop of Rochester says:

"Prayer plays such a vital part in helping us both to develop our relationship with God and to share in God’s work of touching and transforming the life of our world.

"This is a beautifully crafted resource that I hope will be widely used to encourage individuals and congregations to grow deeper in their life of prayer.

He continued:

"In the midst of a hectic and often anxious world, it is so important that we should make time to be still in God’s presence, to allow him to touch our hearts and souls and to pray for the coming of his kingdom.

"Jesus’ first disciples begged him, “Lord, teach us to pray,” and we need to do the same! I hope that the Prayer Pack will be widely used and become a real source of encouragement for prayer across the Diocese.
