Having received the sad news of the death of Pope Francis, Bishop Jonathan Gibbs, the Bishop of Rochester has shared the following message:
“I am deeply saddened to hear of the death of Pope Francis. Such a great spiritual leader and witness to the risen Lord Jesus Christ right to the end.
My prayers are with all our brothers and sisters in the Roman Catholic Church. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.”
