We have an exciting opportunity for a Property Assistant to join our small but busy team based at the Diocesan Office in Rochester.  The Property Assistant will work closely with the Property Director and Diocesan Surveyors to provide excellent administrative support in managing a substantial property portfolio located in Northwest Kent and Southeast London.


The successful applicant should have excellent communication and organisational skills, with an ability to work to tight deadlines and operate well as part of a team.  Previous administrative experience is essential, in particular minute-taking, diary management, and organisational skills. A background or interest in property would be beneficial.


Key Responsibilities:

•    Provide administrative support to the Property Director and Surveyors including managing diaries, inbox, meetings and drafting reports and letters.

•    Provide secretarial support at Property Department meetings, preparing agendas, producing minutes and monitoring actions.

•    Organise and manage the Parsonage Order System for day-to-day repairs, entering invoices received against works on order system.

•    Maintain the Property Database and manage checklists, ensuring all details are kept up to date and inspections have been carried out.

•    Communicate with utility companies, advising them of any changes.

•    Manage work orders and liaise with clergy and contractors.
