The ideal candidate will be:
- A prayerful and inspiring leader, rooted in scripture and led by the Holy Spirit.
- Able to help us develop a Mission Plan that reflects God's call to serve our community and share the Gospel in meaningful ways.
- Able to honour the rich choral traditions of St Mark's, but also bring fresh ideas and creativity, making worship come alive in new ways.
- Encouraging and empowering of others, helping them recognise and use their God-given gifts.
- Someone who embraces diversity and makes everyone feel truly welcome, no matter what their background or circumstances. With a compassionate heart, you will handle challenges with fairness and wisdom, upholding our safeguarding responsibilities and ensuring that St. Mark’s remains a place of safety, belonging, and hope.
- Committed to working collaboratively with our team of dedicated lay ministers, Office holders and PCC members.
- Comfortable to play a full part in our partnership with the local Church primary school, strengthening the existing bond between church and School.
The Vicarage is a 5-bedroom property on Hayes Road, just a five-minute walk from the church.
